At Central United Methodist Church in Decatur, AL, we are committed to empowering youth to take ownership of their faith and build a personal relationship with Christ.
Our youth leaders have over 25 years of experience in youth ministry, and are focused on creating a relationship-based environment where young people are encouraged to grow spiritually, ask questions, and discover their purpose.
Our mission is to help youth develop a deep, lasting connection to their faith and the community, equipping them to live out their beliefs with confidence and love.
6th - 12th grade youth meet on Sunday mornings at 9am for Sunday school and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7pm for fellowship, games music, snacks, Bible study and discussions.
Meeting is typically in the youth area on the 3rd floor, a multi-use, comfortable space a place where youth can eat, study, relax, and learn.
​Throughout the year, our youth also have opportunities for missions, outdoor activities, traveling to faith-based attractions, and having fun together
